Volunteer in Israel

‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ - Matthew 25:40

What better way to know and connect with God’s chosen people than by living among them? What better way to show your love for Israel than by caring for the sick and the weak?

Ten Gentiles collaborates with the Israeli Department of Labor and Social Services to send volunteers to serve in Israeli organizations. Volunteers will care for the elderly and disabled children and adults alongside local staff. They will work for 35 hours a week, Sunday to Friday. The Israeli organizations will provide the visas, shared accommodation, bus passes, food, and sometimes, a small monthly allowance. The volunteers will live in Israel’s rhythm of life and feel her pulse directly.

Ten Gentiles will handhold volunteers through the application process and prepare them through orientation sessions prior to arrival. After volunteers arrive, Ten Gentiles serves as local support and provides fellowship, continuous learning, and regular outings. Also, through our “Host a Volunteer” Program, each volunteer will have a chance to be “adopted” and taken care of by a local Jewish family. We ensure that our volunteers live to the fullest in Israel.

It is part of our calling to take care of the Christians who devote their life to serve Israel; we do not charge fees for this service.
